Good business communication are essential to rise to the top in business. Communication skill can make you friendly and also rise your value among your employee. So how can you improve good communication in business? Here are 7 tips to help you improve your business;

 

LEARN TO LISTEN OTHERS IDEA

You should make sure you listen to what’s employee are contributing even if it wrong or not relevant according to the topic at hand. Listening to the employee make him/her courage to express him/herself and also feel respected. Showing the employee you listening, ask him\her some questions and correct them where they are wrong. Take short note and try to discuss with them.

MEET WITH EMPLOYEES

Most cases bosses or managers use phone and emails to direct their worker. By doing so you may not know the feeling of the person, but by meeting face to face you may know the feeling and thinking of the other person. So if you are a manager either operating in small or big business, arrange a meeting with your workers to know how the business is proceeding.

MAKE TEAM PROJECT

Some barriers to effective communication can be removed by creating team projects, e.g. maybe one of your team member don’t seem to communicate clearly with other members, introduce a team project where they work together and share some idea. By doing this it will enhance good communication in the business

BRING UP SENSITIVE ISSUES FAST

Don’t wait too long to bring sensitive issues. Its more effective to address the issues as soon as it pop up, than to wait until it grow bigger and become a monster to bring it up. Most of the time quick direct discussion can make good business communication without negatively affecting the employees. Sometimes when the issue become big due to delay it may cause pressure to you, making you pressurise and harass your employees,

BE MORE SPECIFIC

Most of the employers dictate a lot to the employees making them not to understand what they are trying to say. If you find yourself speaking a lot please stop and try to simplify your word so that employee can understand fully on your ideas. Communication is about give and take, not dictating how things are going to be or how they should be.

REARRANGE YOUR WORK PLACE (OFFICE)

Effective communication can be good even by rearranging your office. Most offices make use of cubicles or partition where bosses make it private office, making employee to fear the office and it may make barrier with your employees. Make your office open to everyone and good place where every employee can feel free to access.

CEREBRATE YOUR ACHIEVEMENT

It’s important to cerebrate what you have achieved in the company e.g. profits with your employees and it can boost their mood by knowing they are respected in the company. Let them know the achievement they have made in the business, and this can lead to a good communication in the company. It’s even better to hold up a party to enjoy together.
